How to create silent film clips using your voice

You might have seen few videos where Hitler video is shown and voice is customized to make fun or to invite for a meet in a funny way. This is easy and you too can create silent film clips using your voice. One such app is ‘Peanut Gallery‘ on Chrome Store which is a Chrome Experiment that lets you add inter-titles to old film clips using your voice, then share those clips with your friends. It uses your computer’s microphone and the Web Speech API in Google Chrome to turn speech into text. It’s a great way to edit old films and share with your friends. It supports multiple languages.  You need to have Google Chrome browser installed in your computer to install this app. Search for Peanut Gallery in Chrome Store and then click on install to install this app.

There are a few things which you need to follow for creating a better film:
  • Speak clearly at a moderate pace.
  • Mute other sounds or music on your computer.
  • Find a quiet space, away from outside noise.
  • Use regular dictionary words.
  • Add punctuation by saying “question mark”, “period”, etc.
