Remember not to go for Gmail offline on public computers. Gmail offline will be installed on your browser. You can work with your Gmail offline as soon as the app is installed, and it will sync with your online Gmail in the background when there is network connection. Just uninstall this app to remove all the offline data. This works well with the poor internet connection as well just like your mobile Gmail with 2G network. Give it a try.
