How to access Dropbox files offline

dropbox favorite for androidPlaning to go on a vacation to some remote place and not sure if there is network connectivity at that place? If you have a file which you would like to access offline where there is no internet of any network connectivity, then there is an option called Favorites in Dropbox to save some of your files offline on your Android device or any other mobile device.

All that you need to do is mark a file as favorite to get the latest version of a file for offline use. On marking a file as favorite, the file will be added to the app’s Favorites tab like a bookmark for easy access, it syncs the file to your device for offline viewing and also, will show you if the file is out of date and gives you the option to update files. As soon as it’s marked as favorite, the file will be downloaded on your device, you will be able to access the files anytime, even when there is no network connectivity. There is an option to download each of the file, just tap the Update All button on the favorites tab to ensure you have the latest version of each file. To remove a file from your favorite list , just tap the down arrow from the favorite list and just tap on the star just like how you did that before.
