The latest version of Chrome for Android makes it much easier to clear your browsing history than before.
Clearing the browsing history on Chrome for Android has always been a bit of a chore. You either had to memorize chrome://history, or bookmark it. Chrome 28 for Android has changed that by adding a menu item for quick and easy access to your browsing history.
Once the history data comes up, you can click on the "X" next to the individual sites you want to clear. You can also click on the "Clear browsing data" button to clear your entire browsing history, cache, cookies and site data, saved passwords, and autofill data.To get to Chrome's browsing history on Android, hit the menu key, then select "History."
Google Chrome is a good alternative to the default Safari web browser on iOS devices but there’s one little problem – Chrome doesn’t know how to properly handle iTunes URLs.
For instance, if you happen to click a link that points to an iPhone app, Chrome will show the HTML source of the itunes.apple.com page instead of opening the iTunes Apps Store (app). Here’s a screenshot image of Google Chrome running on an iPad and the gibberish text is actually the iTunes store listing for a popular iOS game. You shouldn’t be seeing this.
There are two ways to fix this problem.
You can copy the itunes.apple.com URL from Chrome’s address bar, switch to Safari and paste the URL in a new tab. Safari will automatically launch the app’s page inside the Apps Store.
There’s an easier option as well. While in Chrome, tap the Hamburger menu button in the upper right and choose the “Request Desktop Site” option. Chrome will now render the regular itunes page – similar to the ones you see on desktop computers – and you can tap the “View in iTunes” button to open that app inside the Apps Store.
You may use a similar workaround for opening movies and music album listings inside the iTunes app from the Google Chrome browser.
On-the-fly translation of Web pages is a fixture in Chrome for PCs, but now it's in the Android version, too. Also arriving: SPDY-augmented data compression.

Google, always trying to break down language barriers as part of its mission to make the world's information accessible, has added on-the-fly, automatic Web page translation to its Chrome browser for Android devices.
Chrome 28 for Android, released Wednesday, has the translation feature built in, said Chrome team member Jason Kersey in a blog post. The feature has been built into Chrome for personal computers for years.
• An optimized user interface for right-to-left (RTL) languages including Arabic, Farsi, and Hebrew.Also new in Chrome 28 for Android, according to Kersey and another Chrome team member, Dan Alcantara:
• Full-screen support on tablets, which lets Web apps -- in particular games and video -- take over the entire screen.
• Support for Google's experimental data compression service that lets fast Google servers read a Web page, optimize it for mobile devices, then transmit it faster to a mobile device using Google's SPDY network technology. The service only works with unencrypted Web pages.
Google's server-assisted browsing only works for unencrypted Web pages. Encrypted ones use a direct channel to the secure Web page.

Open any webpage using chrome browser installed in your machine.
Go to Menu items and click on print or just Ctrl+P.
As shown in the image click on Destination. By default, there will be a printer selected. From the list under Destination select Save as PDF. You even have the option to directly save it in Google Drive.
Click on Save and give the location or path and it will be saved a PDF file in your computer.
This is helpful when you do your online payment and want to save a copy of your online receipt. I have been doing this by saving receipts or other important online stuffs as PDFs and then save it online in SkyDrive, Dropbox or Google Drive.
Google on Monday released a small update to its Chrome app for iOS users. The update, which brings faster Web page rendering for slow or unavailable networks, also adds the ability to run a search on Google using your voice. And depending on the search, you may just get an earful back from Chrome with the answer.
To search with your voice in Chrome for iOS, make sure you've updated to the latest version, 27.0.1453.10, from the App Store. Once you've downloaded and installed the update, activate the omnibox as you normally would when you are about to enter a URL or a search term.
But instead of typing this time, tap in the new Google microphone bar located just above the keyboard.
Tapping on it will bring up the voice search prompt, which you can then ask questions to.
When you bring up the voice search prompt, you'll notice the "i" in the lower left-hand corner. Tapping on this icon will reveal some of the search terms you can use your voice with, which will prompt a voice response from Google. Asking a simple question like "is it going to rain tomorrow?" and you'll get a yes or no answer, with the forecast.
You can also ask if your favorite sports team won a recent game, currency conversion, time in a different time zone or random facts. If the voice answers are too much for you, you can disable them by toggling the switch also found on the info screen.
